Thank you George...it seems he went to the Indianapolis In. area and never returned to Tn.
Here are the names of the men, from Jefferson Co.,who were apprehended with him. Maybe there is something in their files that might fill in the clue as to why they ended up on a Roll of Political Prisoners.. Alfred Hinckley, Henry Jenkins and George W. Rogers who violated his parole. It also says Department of the Cumberland Provost Marshall, apprehended them.

Yes Peter V. Foland was his son, he ended up joining the 9th Tn Cav USA, after the War he went to Va. and never returned.
