The federal soldiers at the Franklin fight were under General Rousseau and they did have artillery.Ben Darsey was in the 5th.Georgia so apparently this regiment was on the raid also.General Martin had been relieved just before the raid.The troops at the fight on the 2nd.were from several brigades.Obviously the units were mightily mixed.
