Anyone have any information about some type of skirmish or action that took place in the Franklin, TN area in September of 1864? One of my ancestors was reported killed there at this time. He was a private in the 6th GA Cavalry, Iverson's Brigade, Wheeler's Corps. From what I have read, Wheeler (and Iverson) was in East Tennessee at the time. I found nothing in the ORs. Any help would be appreciated.
