Kerry: I believe the Nashville Archives has the "Cornelius Papers" on line. He was the undertaker in Nashville during the war. I will also check to see if I can find a good link to it for you also. Since the Federal Army occupied Nashville in Feb. 1862 any Confederate Soldier sent there or who was left there during the retreat would have been a Prisoner of War. Cities under the Gun was a photo book published by James Hoobler of the Tn. State Museum. It has many photos of of the various hospitals in Nashville during the war.
