Not sure what the whole quote is saying or exactly what you are looking for, but Weaverville is a CW era name for Boekerton, about 4 miles SW of Portageville. Apparently before that it was known as Spanish Mills. Boekerton is on the old Little River bed, which was only a short distance from Portage Open Bay, which once allowed materials from the Mississippi to be portaged over to Little River and St. Francis River. The area is well shown on the 1940 USGS 15' Pascola topographic map.

Either way, it is not far from there to Clarkton.
