The following men from Livingston's Company attended the 1911 fiftieth C.W. Veteran's reunion at Versailles:

At the beginning of the “dreadful days of war, there were two full companies of Missouri State Guards in Morgan County,” according to A.P. Baker’s book, Morgan County and Some of Her People. Captain Samuel Livingston commanded one (above), Captain George Butler” the other. Butler’s Lieutenants were James B. Salmon and J.S. Thurston. Livingston’s first lieutenant was W.H. Goddard. These were later consolidated and reorganized after Camp Jackson at St. Louis and the Battle of Corinth, Mississippi.

These local soldiers were mentioned in William "Willie" H. Kavanaugh’s diary of his C.W. experiences with the Confederate Army: (of which the MO State Archives has a copy.)
