As suggested the local SCV will probably be your best bet or pay and replace it yourself. The VA does a great service in providing CSA markers. But of course they do check now on the internet to confirm there is no existing marker for the veteran.I have 4 now in my front yard to put out in an old cemetery up in Collin Co.,Tx.Until then my Texas flag proudly waves over their stones.

Is interesting,I am aware of another error on a CSA marker at the Jefferson Barracks National cemetery.Pvt.Alfred Johnson Co.A,17th Texas Cavalry should actually be Captain Alfred Johnson,Johnson's Texas Spy Company.Captain Johnson died at the City General Hospital at St.Louis after being captured at Arkansas Post in Jan.63.It is an old marker possibly put out in the 1930s.Have thought often of bringing Captain Johnson back to the Texas State cemetery in Austin or possibly his home town of McKinney.
