Source: Acadians who found refuge in Louisiana Feb.,1764 - Early 1800 P. 8- list several facts about Alexandre Mouton's children- one being "in 1860 Alfred owned a farm at Carencro" it list geneology stuff as well which I don't care to get into...Does anyone know where this farm was located ? Is Lle Copal a common oversight that people associate as being the home Gen. Alfred Mouton ? There is also the community of Mouton between Carencro - Lle Copal.
I just wanted to know where his family was living at the time of his death.
