On April 24,1864 the U.S Wave fired shots at the Old Confederate Fort located at the mouth of the Calcasieu River...(Battle of Calcasieu Pass)...then went 2 miles or so upriver to load livestock if I remember the battle correctly...Is Toussand's Cove the old fort ?
