F. Devillier, Private, Capt. E. T. King's Siege Battery,* enlisted September 7, 1862 at St. Landry by Capt, Fuller, for the war, last recorded present February 29, 1864 where the company was stationed at Fort De Russey, no other records

* This company was organized May 14, 1862, as Capt. E. W. Fullers Company (St. Martin Rangers), Louisiana Cavalry, and is reported to have been assigned to the 16th Battalion Louisiana Infantry as Company D in June, 1863. When the consolidated Crescent Regiment Louisiana Infantry was formed it became Company H of that organization. It finally became Captain King's Company Louisiana Artillery.

The regiment [Consolidated Crescent Regiment) was formed November 3, 1863, by the consolidation of the Crescent Regiment Louisiana Infantry, the 16th Battalion Louisiana Infantry (also known as the Confederate Guards Response Battalion), and the 11th Battalion Louisiana Infantry.
