Consolidated Crescent Regt
My ancestor, Francois Baltazar DeVillier, enlisted in Co. P, Consolidated Crescent Regt, in Sept. of 1864. The regt. was disbanded at Mansfield in May of 1865. Family oral history says he took the train to Alexandria. Rather than waiting for transportation to get home, he walked from Alexandria to Henderson, which took 2 days. Would like any information on what his company did during the war for the short time he served. Thanks! Judy
