Still working on finding info for Jehu S. Axley. The Southern Claims Commission seems to be my best chance, I am currently waiting on a reply from NARA. Jehu had two claims submitted to the SCC, one allowed and one disallowed. Louisiana is not one of the 4 states that have digitized their "Allowed" records and I can not find his "Disallowed" records online either. Hopefully I will hear from the National Archives soon and be able to get a step closer to obtaining these records.
