I don't know his parentage, but some years back I had a descendant of Upton's send me a photograph of him. Later, another relative told me that the photograph I had was of his son. I don't remember who the son was, but I had suspected that the individual in the photograph was much to young for the time period of the clothes he wore. Do you have any photographs of the old veteran?
