The two armed towns came well after the armed training camp - one begat the other. Again, a training camp with armed troops is nowhere close to groups of men meeting to go to training camps in other states, Union or Confederate.

There is simply no degree of comparison as to who did what first -the Federals set up Robinson before Columbus was taken by a bit over a month. Couple in the other raids, etc. and the evidence shows that it was the Federals that first, and most often, violated KY's neutrality.

Had the Confederates been pulled out of Columbus the Federals would still have remained in KY and probably sent even more troops into KY especially to Columbus. Then who do you place the blame on?

The guys that started it all - the Federals. I have served on juries before and we are taught to look at the evidence and make judgments from that. The evidence is heavily against the Federals here.
