Well, Sergeant, at least it shows he was close enough to the enemy to get captured. Both my great uncles were taken. Frank at Roswell while on recuperative leave from a Minie' ball in the shoulder at Spotsylvania. He was caprured as Sherman's troops began circling Atlanta, and was sent to Camp Douglas. He said the experience gave him rheumatism. Alex was captured at Cedar Creek October 19, 1864, and sent to Pt. Lookout. They were paroled in June, 1865, and walked home to Georgia. Stan
