Ken I will post another one tonight for the Bossier Volunteers unless yall already have it. However, I found the following that answered some questions for me at least and that is in regards to the Cheneyville Rifles (Co. H, 8th La. Vols) flag that was supposed to be sent to Memorial Hall but evidently never made it there. It was also documented in Confederate Veteran but not the description. At any rate:

Loudon Butler Camp, U.C.V. of Benton met pursuant to call in that place on the 12th (Aug 1911). A quorum being present the camp proceeded to business. Adjutant J. S. Alison read the follwing report: State dues for 1911 paid, $2.50; money in the treasury $8.50. He also made mention of a beautiful flag, presented at Little Rock by Mrs. Walke of Norfolk, Va. (Custodian of Flags for the United Confederate Veterans, National Division) received by Gen. Thomas J. Shafffer and responded to by Maj. L. P. Cleburne of Pointe Coupee Parish, a member of Gen. Shaffer's staff.

The flag is made of white and blue silk. On the white ground is a wreath of hand-embroidered roses, encircling these words, "Cheneyville Rifles." On the blue ground is inscribed in French this motto: "For God and Our Country." The flag was left by a Confederate soldier in the home of a gentleman of Norfolk, Va. whose wife gave it to Mrs. Walke as the proper person to find the owner.

It was made out of the bridal dress of Mrs. S. B. Helm, and presented by Miss Mathilde Clark to the Cheneyville Rifles, commanded by Capt. P. F. Keary, during May 1861. This company belonged to the Eighth Louisiana Regiment, which formed a part of the the First Louisiana Brigade, commanded by Gen. Dick Taylor in Virginia.
