Civil War Flags at Auction

I found these flags which are being auctioned off in NYC on Wednesday. I think one of them is a Confederate Naval Ensign flag. The other one seems to be a battle flag although I think it seems like it is more of something that a wife may have made a solder instead of a official battle flag that was flown. Little is known about there provenance as they were donated to a VA museum before they started keeping records on the donors in the 1940's.

If any one could give any information that would be helpful or confirm the flag is a ensign style.
