Good evening. I just saw this message about the soldiers who died of disease at Ft. Pleasant. I've been researching Mitchell's 8th MO infantry regiment off and on- my wife has 3 relatives that were part of that unit. One of them is reported to have died in Little Rock - Sgt Spencer Halbert Mitchell. You mentioned that you had a list of about 40 soldiers who died at Ft. Pleasant. I was hoping that my Mitchell could be one of them (or maybe other 8th MO soldiers). Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
