Sorry, that is not it. I need to get into the good site that the state
of Illinois kept themselves. It was partly with volunteers and you
could submit questions and also see photos of many of the men.
They even tracked where their veterans had gone to in later years.

Indiana is a great site but since I am trying to track Joel Malone McClintock
I need to be in Illinois or possibly even Pennsylvania where he was born.
Since he was born in 1839, when McClintock came to Arkansas in 1863,
he was a young man. Since he was stationed in what was and is now
Prairie County, McClintock stayed becoming basically a true carpetbagger.
I must say it appears that the man did a lot of good for his area and was
well respected by his peers.
