Re: UPDATE on Joel M. McClintock, military service

I have received a message from Neva Boatright who is with the Lower White River Museum in Des Arc, Arkansas. It appears that a copy of McClintock pension record from Arkansas of 1905 shows that Joel M. McClintock enlisted in the 33rd Illinois, and served with both the Mississippi Marines, and the 57th USCT.
So the question is now settled.
He was one and the same in the 33, Mississippi Marines and the USTC.
Thanks for all of the information.
