Re: Morris Hartsell( 1845-1939) White County

This is my first visit to this site so not sure how it works.
I saw your messages regarding Morris Hartsell. I believe this is in reference to my GreatGrandfather. One of his several children, on of whom was Delia who married my grandfather Parks Byrd. I have a copy of a deed regarding a parcel of land in White County. Apparently Morris died in 1939 and left a this 40 acres to his children. In 1943 they sold the land to Mr. Ed Capps but retaining 2.5 acres which I believe may have been the home place for the Morris Hartsell family. And my grandmother Delia Hartsell who married Parks Byrd lived there when I was born in 1936.
Hopefully, we are referencing the same Morris Hartsell and that you have more information. I would especially like to know more about his ancesters. Thank you.
Richard Byrd
