I notice that in The Official Records Series 1, Volume 22, Part 1, Page 903 when the task organization of the Army of the Trans-Mississippi is listed, the battery assigned to Shaver's Brigade of Parson's Divison is Robert's Missouri Battery, so I guess that kinda disproves my theory.
