It is my understanding that this Benjamin Watson was involved in at least the startup of two other educational institution the Tulip Academy of Rison, Arkansas and the Watson Chapel school in Pine Bluff which is named after him. He may have also been involved in the startup of the Men Academy at Sulphur Springs with Malcomb Currie, and the Pine Bluff Military Academy with Archibald Patton.
