The twelve pounder that was on display in Grant Park in Atlanta was stolen in 1993 and was recently recovered when police raided a residence in rural Georgia a few months ago. Currently the status of the gun is in limbo as the authorities are trying to establish who the rightful owner is. The MacArthur Military Museum at the Little Rock Arsenal is working to bring the piece home.
