Might be time to start writing one.
I understand and I know for a fact that there are two histories of the
8th Arkansas in the works. To my knowledge neither of those has been completed.
Also, the 8th Arkansas CSA were such strong fighters that there is a group in Michigan that calls
themselves the 8th in their re-enactments.
All of that about the 3rd was interesting reading.
