There's no regimental history of the 3rd Confederate Infantry, at least that I'm aware of. It's a shame, because it would make a great read. Most of the information I have on the regiment came from transcriptions I made of various National Archives microfilms, plus passing references in the Official Records and books about campaigns and battles the regiment took part in.
