The Third Confederate Regiment, formed in January of 1862, consisted of two companies from Mississippi and eight from Arkansas. Like the First ARK Infantry Regiment, the 3rd was part of Daniel Govan's Brigade at Franklin, TN. Can anyone tell me, specifically, what units comprised the Third Confederate Regiment?
