Dennis - Bozeman enlisted May 14, 1862, at Andalusia. Company records do not reflect any illnesses. He is shown as present on muster rolls: July 1 to Oct 31, '62; Nov & Dec '62; and Aug 31 to Dec 31 '63. Union records show that he was captured at Big Shanty, GA, one June 15, '64. From there he was forwarded to Nashville, Louisville, and Rock Island. Notation is made that he was buried in grave #1706.
