I had a great great grandfather, Martin Daniel Allen, who served in the 9th Ala Inf. He was wounded in five seperate engagements during the war. I also had a great great great grandfather, William Hunter Gregory, who served in the 16th Alabama Infantry. Hunter Gregory was killed in action at Franklin, TN.
