I have a record of Cpl.John Maxwell of CoA 4th Alabama Inf.I checked The rosters on the Alabama Regimental Histories page but he is not there.The record states he was captured in Dec1863 and is a Prisoner of War on Jan 31,1863 in City Point Virginia, nothing else.I would like to know where he is from,where he enlisted?
