I'm almost positive that I have that info somewhere. I'll be looking for it, but maybe somebody else will know and post the info in the meantime.

I can tell you that it was an element of Gen. James H. Wilson's Corps. But, I can't remember whether it was the troops with Wilson that captured Davis, or if it was Gen. Croxton's Brigade, which was detached from Wilson's main body of troops.

If it was Croxton's Brigade, it was one or all of the following units:

1st Brigade (Croxton's Brigade)

6th Kentucky U.S.Cavalry
2nd Michigan U.S. Cavalry
8th Iowa U.S. Cavalry
4th Kentucky U.S. Mounted Infantry
