McALPINE, Napoleon Bonaparte (2nd Ala. Cav., Co. C. Enlisted on 3/22/1862 at Eutaw, Greene Co., Ala. Was part of the last escort for President Jefferson Davis. Surrendered in May 1865 at Forsyth, Ga. Alive in Brazil in 1913, age 66 or 68.)
