that the 2nd surrendered several days prior to President Davis' capture. He was nabbed further south.

Donnie - I too am looking for some closure on my ggg grandfather, Angus McDuffee, in Co. G of the 2nd (Coosa Co.). The last mention of him, in his service record, shows him at Selma in May 1864. He survived the war but there is no record of a pension application. Any ideas?
