Art GreenBeers in WBTSTue Feb 13 19:00:04 2001 Fannie A. Beers published her personal experiences during the war in 1891. The book is called Memories by Mrs. Fannie A. Beers and was published by Press of J. B. Lippincott Co. in Philapelphia in 1891. She was a noted Confederate Nurse. Her husband served as a member of Co. A, Cresent Rifles. He mustered into CSA service in April 1861. I have not researched further his name or Cresent Rifles. I believe them to be from New Orleans. Are you the Nancy Beers of Tyler, Ala.? Art Green.
