Yes, I'm that Nancy Beers, but I now live in Louisiana. I have her book and some of her personal correspondence. She was related by marriage and blood to the Beers of Alabama. I hope someone can help me with the link. Her husband was born in Augusta, Ga and so were George Washington Beers and Benjamin Franklin Beers. They came to Montgomery and Lowndes County after the War. Thank you for your response.
