Need Help Understanding Military Records

My gggrandfather was placed on medical leave in 1864. The form heading is MEDICAL EXAMINING BOARD, DALTON, GEORGIA,under the head of "Examination for furloughs." The form shows HOSPITAL Law; the reason for disability; TOWN Haralson, STATE Ga. My questions: Where was Law Hospital? Is Haralson the town he was furloughed to or the town where he was examined? (I am still trying to locate my gggrandfather (and his parents) prior to the WBTS.) Thanks.
