My great great grandfather Jacob Fain was in 5th Va Battalion Co I, and guarded prisoners in Danville. He was also from Patrick County He is buried there, and I have seen his,gravestone which also has 5th Va bn unit and 12 th Va unit on it. He also served the 12th Virginia Regiment
