Tony
The only information I have found on Christopher Alderson Gibson comes from a 50th Va. casualty report following Wilderness-Spotsylvania, which listed him as C.A. Gibson, pvt, Co. H., missing; and one listing in Selected Records of the War Department Relating to Confederate Prisoners of War 1861-1865. Microfilm Publication M598, National Archives. War Department Collection of Confederate Records. Record Group 109, Washington, D.C. That listing for C.A. Gibson, pvt. H/50Va, shows him captured, Wilderness, 6 May 64, and arriving at Point Lookout, Md., 18 May 64 from Belle Plains. I have not been able to determine his status after that. What can you tell me about his life before, during and after the war?
