In Response To: Moses Eudailey ()

Being over 35 years of age, he would not have been required to enlist in the 22nd Virginia, nor is he found in their roster.

I have tried both spelling of his surname and can not find Moses. Nor can I find any reference to a Wing's Battalion

George Martin

Moses Eudaley enlisted as a Private in Company E, 2nd Virginia Light Artillery, April 1, 1862 at Richmond, last recorded present on May 23, 1863 with notation, over 35 years of age, no further records

The regiment was broken up about May 23, 1862, by operation of the Conscript Act. Companies A, B, E. G. and H were reorganized and formed the 22nd Battalion Virginia Infantry
