I am a civil war re-enactor and just recently created a new unit, The 118th New York Volunteer Infantry "The Adirondack Regiment". This year we are holding an event in Lewis, New York where we will be recreating a portion of the Battle of Drewry's Bluff (which on the 118th's battle flag is interestingly spelled Drewrey). This was the most prominent of the Adirondack Regiment's engagements and I was wondering if you had any more specific data on the battle and the units that participated in it. Again, thanks for the wonderful posts.
