Is possible..Appears an Israel Pannell was in Campbell Co.Georgia in 1840 then Talladega Alabama 1850 and 1860 and I do know that his son William Pannell lived in Campbell Co and Atlanta after the war until 1900.

Now this has got me curious. Someone on Ancestry has listed Israel Pannell(1817-1865) as the E.I.Pannell soldier in Co.B,29th.Alabama Infantry. The birth year is correct but there are no ages listed on his service records and I have not yet researched what part of Alabama this Co B was recruited.....Perhaps an error..we shall see..
