Thanks John. I am very glad he survived the war also. The alternative would have been disastrous for my future. I am very proud to find a grandfather that served in the famous Army of Northern Virginia. Have others from Texas,Tennessee,Louisiana,Mississippi and a few Ohio Yankees (Yikes a father and son!) I'm sure those post war conversations would have been interesting....
