The names on F.H. Blair's cards were nearly impossible to decipher. .. Yes, I know I could have ordered records of F.H. Blair's cohorts, but I'm one person doing a Herculean task.

I am striving to indentify all people in my 146-page Name Index. ..Few understand that I have 39,895 entries in my Name Index, although some names appear on more than one page. ... ..I must quickly add that about 70 percent of my 1,046-page book is from handwritten records and I have spent hundreds of hours rereading these records in an attempt to correct any mistranscriptions, because this is the only way that our history will be corrected: one soldier at a time. ..And yes, the scope of my book was determined by THE BOURALND PAPERS.
