I found 3 cards on James W.Burke and 3, on W. E. Burke. both in Company I McCord's Mounted Regt. Texas State Volunteers.
(1)Pvt. James W. Burke enrolled Dec 13,1862 at Camp Colorado ( per James William's site there were two Camp Colorado's one in Coleman Co.Tx the other in Matagorda County,Tx) Co I, Mustered into service Dec15,1862, Horse was valued at $250.00 and equipment at $75.00.(2)March 19, 1865 Camp near Bastrop. Deserted. (3)Descriptive List of Refugees who have reported at Franklin, Texas between May 22 and June 5,1865 ated June 6,1865. Date arrived June 5,1865. Age: 20, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Light,Complexion: Fair, 5 Feet 7 Inches. Born Cass County,Texas.

(1)Pvt. W.E. Burke enrolled and mustered in June 30, 1863 at Camp Colorado in Co I. Horse valued at $350.00 Equipment $50.00 On furlough for 20 days since Dec20. (2)Nov 1864, on detached service after Deserters by order Gen Walker. (3) Dec 1864 On Det Serv on Scout with Lt Chandler since Nov 1.

Franicis M. Burke age 19 enrolled in 2nd Texas Cav.(Second Mounted Rifles) Co H, at Weatherford, Texas has 16 cards.
