Re: Wiley G. Bynum 4th Tenn Regiment

I was a youngster in the 1950's when I first knew of my Great Grand Father Popkey Bynum, my fathers mother father whose father was Wiley Geen Bynum. Popkey was a Spanish American War Veteran. I can remember being in St. Louis where the clan had gathered and Popkey showed his Span Am uniform and a uniform, ragged as it was of his father. I can remember him saying that his father was a cantakerous old man and always raving about how they could have won the war. I come through the Justice clan who originates in Virginia, settled in ohio, Illinois and then Northeast Arkansas where my father was born. Part of the Justice clan served in Shelby's Iron Brigade.
