My G. G. Grandfather W. G. Bynum served in the 4th Tenn Infantry from its inception. He was wounded and captured at Perryville, exchanged and eventually settled and died in St. Louis. I would like to find a history of this regiment, and or references that would aide me in tracking my acestor, aside from the CSR's.
