I do have an Ancestry membership, however the parents that are listed for Thomas Jasper Tarpley are not accurate. The Thomas that matches those parents never left Tennessee and was not in the Civil War. In the 1880 census The one thomas is still in Tennessee. Thomas Jasper left tennessee and went to Texas and there is where he died in 1919. Where can I find his Civil War papers to see if a parent is listed. Thanks Debbie
