Re: 5th TN Cavalry Regiment (McKenzies)

Mr. Martin:
Thanks very much for the lisiting.

The second name from the top, the James Edgmond, age 20, that enlisted at Kingston on 11-12-62 is my gr-gr uncle.
The second name from the bottom, the William Edgmond , age 47 that enlisted 1-27-62 at Knoxville is my gr-gr grandfather, he was James father. They lived in the Paint Rock-Ten Mile area, west of Sweetwater.
Pollard Edgmond is a first cousin to William Edgmond; their fathers were brothers. I think Samuel may be connected though I'm not certain.
I have a copy of an Edgmond genealogy chart that goes back to the grandfather of my gr-gr grandfather so I will have to look at it and see if any of the other names show up in other related Edgmond lines. Pollard Edgmond is on the chart.

Thanks again for posting this information.
