For the ordnance records try the compiled service records of the ordnance sergeant of the regiment, the brigade ordnance officer, the company commanders, the field grade officers of the regiment. I have found ordnance issues, reports, and turn-ins in the various regiments that I have looked at. You will also want to look at the Inspection reports for the Army of Tennessee during the summer of 1864. I believe the cavalry had reports and I know for the infantry if often had number and calibers of weapons.
