Hi David. I did the search for Jacob and James. There are hundreds of records with Richardsons, in both the Union and Confederate. I know that Neely's 14th Regiment was formed by my great great grandfather, Zillman Voss, with guys from Hardeman County. I also know the Nixon's regiment was one containing many men from that area, as they consolidated. Some guys from TN were part of other state's troops. Do you know that they served in a TN regiment for sure? There are also many JB Richardsons. Once we find a record with their full name, we can search for initialed records using the regiment name.
